Dear Friend of ACAC Booster Club,

Since our inception eight years ago, the Atlantic City Aquatic Club has built a strong reputation of “providing young people with a positive direction in life through excellence in aquatics.”  This is our mission and our family of coaches, swimmers, and parents work towards this goal every day. 

Our swimmers have also built the reputation of being hard-working and dedicated competitors.  Their successes have earned them the respect of other teams and national recognition.  Here are just some the recent accomplishments of our swimmers:

v     2005/2006  US Senior and Junior National Championships and US Open.

v     2 swimmers named to USA Swimming’s 2005-2006 Scholastic All-American Team.

v     One USA Swimming National Individual Age Group record.

v     2005 10 and under Boys Relay broke and set a USA Swimming National Age Group record.

v     2 swimmers named as 2006 Middle Atlantic Junior Olympic Individual Age Group High Point Winners.

v     8 of our swimmers have held Top 16 reportable times-- ranking them among the fastest in the nation!

v     5 swimmers selected to 2006 Middle Atlantic Winter Zone All-Star Team competing against swimmers from Maine to Virginia.

v     ACAC awarded the 2005 Good Sportsmanship Award by the South Jersey Winter Swim League.

v     Many swimmers have moved on to compete in the NCAA Division I and II collegiate arena.

In order to continue bringing South Jersey swimmers to the national forefront, we need your help and financial support.  The Booster Club of ACAC is requesting your support by becoming one of our sponsors.  The attached sponsor sheet details the levels of sponsorship available.

2006-2007 Swim Season T-Shirt Sponsorship

Freestyle Sponsor: $300

              Your choice of name or business name in large block lettering will appear on the back of the official team shirt worn by swimmers at all meets throughout the region. You will also receive a free tee shirt and a letter of appreciation for your contribution and your name will be listed in the ACAC meet program book.

Butterfly Sponsor: $200

              Your choice of name or business name in medium block lettering will appear on the back of the official team shirt worn by swimmers at all meets throughout the region.  You will also receive a letter of appreciation for your contribution and your name will be listed in the ACAC meet program book.

Backstroke Sponsor: $100

              Your choice of name or business name in small block lettering will appear on the back of the official team shirt worn by swimmers at all meets throughout the region.  You will also receive a letter of appreciation for your contribution and your name will be listed in the ACAC meet program book.

Individual Medley Sponsorship

              All other donations are welcome and appreciated and will be utilized throughout the season to fund swim team activities and events.  Amount:  $_______________________

ACAC Swimming is the proud host of the South Jersey Swim League Summer Championships to be held on August 2, 2006 and also the Middle Atlantic Open Water Championships to be held on August 20, 2006.

As a fundraiser, we are looking for Business and/or Family Sponsorships.  You have two options: ads can be placed in the League Champs Program Book or sponsor names can be placed on the back of the MA Open Water Champs T-Shirt.  This is your final opportunity to meet your $100.00 family fundraising obligation for the spring/summer season.

Attached are two forms that can be duplicated and given to prospective sponsors, for either the League Champs Meet or the MA Open Water Champs.

Dear ACAC Parents, Boosters, and Sponsors:

The Board of Directors of the ACAC Booster Club is pleased to announce that for the first time the Atlantic City Aquatic Club will be co-sponsoring, along with Seacats, Inc., the Bridge-to-Bridge Swim Races now in their 8th year.  The Bridge–to-Bridge races, a 1.3 mile and 5K, have become an Atlantic City tradition in just eight short years with many of our swimmers participating from the inception of this challenging, yet fun, day of racing. 

Being part of the Bridge-to-Bridge races provides all ACAC Boosters with the first of three opportunities to satisfy their fundraising fee for the 2006 Spring/Summer season.  The ACAC Booster Club will be providing each participant with a commemorative t-shirt with all sponsors detailed on the back.  The sponsorship levels are detailed below. 

If you would like to participate in sponsoring this race that will have participants from Atlantic and Cape May Counties along with swimmers from Pennsylvania, Delaware, and beyond, please complete the bottom portion of this form and return to any ACAC board member by Saturday, June 17, 2006.

The Annual ACAC Awards Dinner will be held at the Historic Smithville Inn in the Towne of Historic Smithville on Sunday, April 9th at 5:30 pm.  Look forward to an evening of : Great Music, Dancing, Food, Friends, and Awards.  More details to follow.

To All ACAC Families,

   A new fun fundraiser is starting! The team is going to put together a cookbook with all of our best family recipes. We will then sell the cookbooks to friends and family, and at the concession stand. The team can earn money for years to come!

   Our team is very diverse. We would like to celebrate this diversity by having everyone contribute recipes from their heritage. Of course, any of your favorite recipes will be accepted. If any member can obtain recipes from restaurants in the area, it would also help promote the book.
